My son is 5 and he got the Robotcar for his birthday. He figured out the transformation on his own in about two minutes. Since then it is nonstop chasing, rescuing and transforming in the living room, and he has not touched the tablet in days. The folding joints feel solid, nothing sticks.

Finally a toy that is not sitting in the corner after two days. The transformation is doable for small hands but not too easy, which is exactly the right challenge for our four year old.
He transformed it back and forth for FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT ON a rainy Saturday and I did not have to entertain him once. Sorry for shouting, any parent who has survived a rainy day will understand. Batteries in and it was ready to go.
The quality suprised me in a good way, the joints hold tight and the sounds arent loud enough to drive you crazy. My son has knocked it off the couch more than once and it still snaps together fine.
Ordered here several times now and everything was perfect again. This one went to my nephew and he hasnt put it down since. He definately sleeps with the robot on his pillow, my sister sent me the photo to prove it.
